Build the Future of Video

LTX-2 Open Call for supporting Research & Collaboration

We believe that everyone should have access to powerful technology.

By open-sourcing LTX-2, we invite researchers and builders to advance generative video together and support impactful work through two complementary collaboration tracks.

When technology is open, collaboration becomes possible - and excellence follows.

AWARDS

LTX Contributors AWARDS

Make It Work

Make It Fast

Make It Useful

We offer implementation awards for high-quality, reproducible methods built on top of LTX. This track focuses on turning strong ideas - from recent papers, existing methods, or clever engineering - into practical, reusable systems

Selected projects may receive

  • ο»Ώο»ΏFast-turnaround financial rewards or compute credits
  • ο»Ώο»ΏPublic recognition for accepted implementations
  • ο»Ώο»ΏDirect impact on LTX, a production-grade foundation model
  • ο»Ώο»ΏA low-friction way to collaborate with the team

We invite applications from

  • ο»Ώο»ΏEngineers and applied researchers
  • ο»Ώο»ΏAcademic labs doing applied work
  • ο»Ώο»ΏIndependent contributors with strong technical skills

Areas of Impact

Working implementations in areas such as

  • ο»Ώο»ΏPerformance and memory optimization
  • ο»Ώο»ΏAlgorithmic efficiency and sampling
  • ο»Ώο»ΏControl, conditioning, and editing tools
  • ο»Ώο»ΏEvaluation pipelines, metrics, and benchmarks
  • ο»Ώο»ΏRobustness, safety, and supporting tooling

Expected outcome

Real Impact

Published Results

LTX Academic Grants suport ambitious academic research that explores new capabilities, limitations, and directions in generative video - work that is uniquely enabled by access to a strong foundation model like LTX.

Projects should aim to produce both a publishable research contribution and a working technical prototype.

Innovative research projects that demonstrate

  • A clear research question or hypothesis
  • Strong positioning relative to prior work
  • ο»Ώο»ΏDirect impact on LTX, a production-grade foundation model

We invite applications from

  • Academic researchers, faculty, postdocs, and PhD students
  • University-affiliated research labs
  • Research groups targeting top-tier venues

Selected projects may receive

  • A substantial academic research grant
  • Compute resources for large-scale experiments
  • Dedicated technical collaboration with the LTX team
  • Extended hands-on support throughout the project
  • Joint visibility through blogs, talks, or spotlighted papers
